Hi guys, long time no talk! SO much has been going on with my life I have no idea where to even start.

I guess I can start by addressing the elephant in the room…. On August 20th, I was officially granted a divorce from an abusive relationship I stayed in way long than I should have. My paperwork will come in on September 3rd, and I will be changing everything from my married last name to my maiden name.

In the process of trying to find myself in this whole thing, I have since found a person who is worth my time and energy, and treats me exactly like I should have been treated all along… The energy that is put into this relationship is well beyond my expectations.

I do have a lot of catching to do with y’all, and I am so excited to announce that I am in the process of getting Life With Misty back up and running.  Things may not be perfect, nor will they be every day like it used to be, but I am excited to restart sharing my journey with y’all.

It may not be perfect – as since the last time I touch based with y’all my grandfather was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and has lesions on his liver, so his time on this earth is limited. He lives full time with me and my sisters family, and we are doing our best to make his last few weeks with us the best we can, and honestly life may get in the way – but I am here, I am alive, and I am so grateful for everything this life had taught me, and the life that is being out in front of me.

Those of you who have been here with me since Mysterious Ramblings, thank you so much for never giving up on me.  Though I am looking forward to this new chapter in my content creating career, it will never get back to what it was when I has Mysterious Ramblings, and I’m still mourning that.  Content will be the same – reviews, life, gift guides, helpful life tips and more, but the content will never reach the level it did before.

 

I hope y’all stick with me as I open this new chapter of my life, and start with a fresh pen.

Summer is here and as we get more active outside, I find the struggle of consuming enough water and staying hydrated.  I don’t know about you but I get bored with plain water, and most flavored water packets are too fake tasting.

If you’re anything like me, you probably love a good sparkling drink but don’t love the constant pile of cans and bottles that come with it. I’m always looking for little ways to make everyday life easier (and a little more fun), so when I got the chance to try the SodaStream E-DUO Sparkling Water Maker, I was honestly excited to see if it could live up to the hype.

First impressions? It’s incredibly easy to use, which is a big deal for me. I don’t want another appliance sitting on my counter that requires a whole instruction manual just to make a drink.
